Welcome to the British Rotorcraft AssociationThis is where the new BRA web site is being built. Its initial objective is to provide an accurate and up to date information including contact list for the committee, instructors and inspectors, notification of forthcoming events and other relevant information on learning to fly and owning a gyrocopter (gyroplane) in the UK. The British Rotorcraft Association is the sport flying association for United Kingdom Gyroplane Pilots. The Association is currently best described as small, active and enthusiastic. Currently there are around 250 gyroplanes registered in the United Kingdom, and an there is an active community of around 300 pilots, the majority of whom are members of the British Rotorcraft Association. Our membership is not limited to gyroplane pilots, and we have a number of active members who do not fly. This website is provided to support Association members, and to act as a complete source of information for gyroplane pilots in the United Kingdom, whether based here or just visiting.
